It was kind of creepy dealing with the twins, but they sure are adorable. I’m excited for the next episode and to find out more about this world.
Deep emotional stakes introduce the Magic Manor being shown in this episode. The visuals utilise a unique crystalline transformation sequence, beautifully rendering sparkling but tragic petrification effects as a wizard's life hangs in the balance.
I like that the visuals have improved a bit here, and I can feel that the character dynamics are starting to form. The writing also improves here, they let the characters interact and explain the world rather than outright explaining the world building here. Though the pacing is still uneven, some scenes felt dragged out while others are rushed. I can also barely feel any emotional impact here, this was an okay watch but not really memorable.
