Synopsis
Everything about Saki's life was perfectly ordinary — until Mikami got his hooks into her, and everything changed. He's manipulative, sadistic, and just got fired from his last teaching job for assaulting a student. His solution? Pressure Saki into landing him a new position at her all-girls college. Once he's in, his attention quickly shifts to the students around him, and Saki gets pulled deeper into his schemes whether she wants to be or not. The central tension is less about what Mikami does and more about Saki — watching someone with genuine moral awareness slowly become complicit in things she knows are wrong. That psychological unraveling is what gives this 2-episode OVA its weight. It's dark, uncomfortable, and pretty unrelenting in tone. Don't go in expecting anything lighthearted. If you've watched something like Discipline or Bible Black and appreciated how that style leans into power dynamics and psychological pressure rather than just surface-level content, this covers similar ground with a more relationship-focused lens. Night Shift Nurses fans will also recognize the institutional setting used as a backdrop for control and manipulation. Adapted from a visual novel by studio Y.O.U.C, it's short enough that it doesn't overstay its welcome, and the source material gives the character writing a bit more grounding than you'd expect from the runtime. Just go in knowing exactly what kind of story it's telling — it's not shy about it.
