📖 SYNOPSIS
"Princess Sara Specials" are a pair of TV specials released in April 2001, each lasting 45 minutes. They summarize the story of the 1985 anime series "Princess Sara," which was part of Nippon Animation's World Masterpiece Theater and is based on the novel "A Little Princess" by Francis Hodgson Burnet. The narrative centers on Sara Crewe, a young girl sent to an all-girls boarding school in London while her father works in India. Initially popular and excelling in her studies, Sara's life changes dramatically when she learns of her father's death, leaving her destitute. Forced to work as a servant at the school, she faces harsh treatment but maintains her kindness and optimism. Through her resilience and support from friends, Sara eventually finds a way to reclaim her dignity and happiness.
