EPISODE REVIEWS

Princess Lover! starts with a chaotic whirlwind as Teppei is thrown from middle class into the elite world of the upper class. The episode shows his personal growth while navigating princesses and parties, and is deeply heartbreaking as he copes with the loss of his parents.

Episode Context

As episode 1 of 12, this is pure setup, introducing Teppei Arima, his dramatic change in circumstances, and his first encounter with Charlotte Hazelrink, one of the series' central heroines. There's no prior context needed; this is the entry point that establishes the premise and tonal foundation for everything ahead. Episode 2, 'Academy and Reunion,' picks up directly from here as Teppei begins navigating the elite social world he's been dropped into.
