đ SYNOPSIS
Kuragehime: Eiyuu Retsudenâ (also known as Princess Jellyfish Specials) is a Japanese anime special consisting of four short episodes, released as bonus content with the Blu-ray and DVD editions of the main Kuragehime series. The specials premiered on January 28, 2011, and concluded on April 22, 2011. Adapted from the spin-off manga Kuragehime Heroesâ, serialized in Kiss Plus magazine by Akiko Higashimura, this anime was produced by Brain's Base, the same studio behind the original Kuragehime series. The main Kuragehime story follows Tsukimi Kurashita, a jellyfish-obsessed girl living in a women-only apartment complex with other quirky otaku, and her unexpected friendship with Kuranosuke, a cross-dressing man. In contrast, Eiyuu Retsudenâ shifts the focus to the supporting characters of the Kuragehime universe, exploring their quirks and adventures in brief, comedic vignettes. Each episode, lasting about 5 minutes, offers a lighthearted slice-of-life look at these side characters, expanding the world of the original series with a playful tone.
