Episode Context

Sitting early in XYZ's 47-episode run, this is the first half of a two-part Ninja Village detour that continues directly into Episode 7, 'A Festival of Decisions!' It follows the more introspective, dream-themed Episode 5 and marks a tonal shift toward action and world-building. The mini-arc deepens Sanpei's character and establishes stakes that pay off immediately in the next episode, making it essential rather than skippable setup.
