Episode Context

Serving as the climax of the Team Flare arc, this episode directly follows the escalation in 'Rocking Kalos Defenses!' where the crisis reached a breaking point and the protagonists were pushed to their limits. 'Forming a More Perfect Union!' brings that conflict to its peak confrontation, functioning as the decisive battle of XYZ's most consequential storyline. The next episode, 'Battling With a Clean Slate!', shifts to the aftermath and emotional fallout, beginning the series' wind-down toward its final episodes.
