Episode Context

Sitting at episode 40 of 93, this falls squarely in the Pokémon Summer Camp stretch of XY, directly following the Pokévision competition that planted early seeds for Serena's interest in Pokémon Showcases. The orienteering challenge continues to build group dynamics and friendly rivalries among the camp participants, setting the table for the more battle-focused team events and Hall of Fame match coming in the next episode.
