My patience was truly tested in that cave section, I swear it just dragged on and on! But when they finally dropped that Gibeon lore at the end, I was instantly hooked, and it totally made me forgive how slow the beginning was.

This felt like a total filler episode because they spent way too much time wandering around that cave and barely learned anything we didn't already know

I liked seeing the Six Heroes use their moves like HMs to get everyone through the cave and it really felt like a great callback to the games

Episode Context

Coming directly off the major revelations in Episode 83, 'The Truth Revealed!', this episode functions as a crucial bridge, translating newfound knowledge about the Black Rayquaza into forward momentum toward Laqua. It deepens the mythology and introduces Yuha as a key local figure before the team's anticipated arrival at Laqua in Episode 85, 'The Pokémon Paradise of Laqua!' Skipping this one would mean missing essential lore groundwork and character setup for the arc's next major beats.
