I still cant believe Coral ended up with that Scream Tail just by accident and it fits her loud personality so well compared to Roy failing to catch Sandy Shocks after such a tough fight

Roy actually fought really well against Sandy Shocks but it sucked seeing him walk away without catching it especially since Coral just stumbled into getting a new pokemon without even trying

My heart went out to Roy after all that work, it was such a bummer he missed his chance, but I actually laughed out loud watching Coral just accidentally snag that Scream Tail right after! And Briar being in Area Zero now has me completely buzzing about the massive lore dumps I bet we're about to get.

The animation for Great Tusk was incredible, although it would have been better to see some of the future forms instead of just the Scarlet ones for once.

Area Zero looked amazing but they really needed to play the music from the games to make it feel more mysterious while everyone was exploring the deep craters and seeing all those weird ancient paradox forms

That Sandy Shocks encounter was a bit of a letdown since nobody caught it but at least that area zero music played during the encounter to make it feel like the game

The Paradox pokemon actually look so creepy and dangerous when they show up in the wild and Great Tusk felt like a real threat

It felt so good to finally see the Paradox pokemon show up after all this buildup and they really nailed how unpredictable they are. Scream Tail was acting like a total menace and then Sandy Shocks came out of nowhere to give Roy a hard time. Watching the group struggle against things that do not follow normal pokemon rules made the descent into Area Zero feel actually dangerous for once

It was cool finally getting to see Area Zero in the anime, but I have to agree with people saying it feels a bit too much like a regular forest. In the games it felt like you were on another planet, and here it's just very green. Coral catching Scream Tail by accident was easily the funniest part of the descent for me
