Cap really just stood there and let them struggle while he adjusted his hat and that kind of confidence makes you realize he is such a different leader than Ash's Pikachu

Episode Context

Coming directly after Episode 6, where Liko and Roy officially cemented their places within the Rising Volt Tacklers, this episode shifts from recruitment into development, a natural narrative pivot that invests in the protagonists' competence before raising the stakes. It functions as a bridge episode, establishing the battling fundamentals and team dynamics that will pay off in the challenges ahead. The training focus here signals that the series is building toward encounters where Liko and Roy will need to stand on their own.
