The pacing felt weird when Liko lost so quickly at the end and it makes all her growth feel like it was for nothing since she keeps getting defeated

I really loved the crowd chanting for Fuecoco while he evolved because it made the whole moment feel so huge and special for Roy and his partner

Episode Context

Coming directly off the high-stakes defense of Naranja Academy against the Explorers in Episode 66, this episode shifts the energy from external threats to internal growth, channeling the momentum into a milestone battle between the series' two leads. It serves as a culmination of the training and development Liko and Roy have undergone throughout the season. The outcome of this battle is positioned to shape their trajectories heading into the next phase of the story.
