A Moltres?! I was genuinely expecting Rayquaza, so when that fiery legendary just started draining everyone’s energy, leaving them helpless in that dark cave, my jaw dropped. It was such a terrifying display of power, and I couldn't help but feel a shiver down my spine imagining being trapped like that.

The whole chase with the mine cart felt so fast and desperate especially when the ceiling started coming down while they were trying to outrun that massive energy blast

Poor Hatenna, huddled in her hood and just sobbing her little heart out because of Moltres's pure rage, totally broke me. I mean, how crushing must it be for her to literally feel such intense negative emotions, and it honestly made the entire clash feel incredibly heavy and bleak from my perspective.

You see that Ancient Poke Ball clutched in the claw of a legendary bird and realize the mystery about Lucius is way bigger than just finding one shiny dragon

Liko feeding those wild pokemon really got to me because it shows her empathy even when things are getting creepy. That mine felt so heavy and draining and seeing the miners just lying there was actually kind of dark for this show, but it made that Moltres reveal feel way more dangerous than a normal battle to me

Friede and Amethio having their battle cut short yet again is starting to get a bit old because seeing Charizard and Ceruledge clash is the highlight of every encounter

Moltres's pink aura was wild, it totally surprised me how it just drained everyone's energy like that. I've never seen anything quite like it in the show before, and it made me wonder what kind of power this legendary Pokémon really possesses.

Roy just running off into the dark tunnels when everyone told him to stay put was making me so mad because he almost got them all killed by that legendary bird

Captain Pikachu really stepped up to protect the group and taking that direct hit from Moltres proved he is the real anchor of the team while everyone else was losing strength

Watching Liko give those snacks to the terrified Timburr and Woobat was so sweet and it really shows how she handles things differently than just battling every single thing she sees

Okay, my jaw seriously dropped when Galarian Moltres burst out of nowhere, especially since I was totally bracing myself for Rayquaza to appear. That ear-splitting screech it let out, making the whole cavern rumble? Totally gave me chills.

It was wild seeing the Explorers actually run away in fear, since they usually act so tough during their fights with Friede

The mine cart chase felt like a classic adventure movie and Friede swooping in on Charizard to block that blast was a huge save

Amethio and Friede clashing again in the middle of a collapsing mine shows how obsessed they are with their rivalry even when a legendary is trying to kill them

Captain Pikachu taking that massive hit for Sprigatito was such a move and he really is the backbone of this team for keeping the kids safe during that chaos in the cavern

I felt so bad for those miners being left like empty shells because of that bird and its crazy red aura in the dark

Poor Hatenna, I just wanted to give it a big hug when it started crying in Liko's hood. My heart really went out to it, seeing how Moltres's sheer fury was just too much for its sensitive nature to handle.

My heart sank when Hatenna started crying from all that rage and pain it was sensing from Moltres in the middle of the fight

Whew, that mine cart escape had my heart pounding right along with them! I honestly didn't think they'd make it out before the tunnel completely caved in, and now I'm just wondering how they'll even get back to where they need to be.

Amethio just won't quit and his Ceruledge going toe to toe with Friede while a literal legendary bird is wrecking the place is total chaos

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off 'The Lonely Hatenna,' where Liko expanded her circle by befriending a new Pokémon, Episode 22 shifts gears into forward momentum, thrusting the core group into immediate physical danger inside Galar Mine. This episode serves as a critical bridge, escalating the stakes and planting seeds for the confrontation teased in the next episode, 'Fiery Galarian Moltres,' suggesting the mine exploration has consequences that reach well beyond its tunnels.
