I really enjoyed the contrast between the heavy scenes with Amethio in the cave and the lighthearted surfing plot with Dot. Seeing Amethio show some vulnerability about his grandfather was a huge step for his character, and Ludlow giving him life advice over curry was such a weirdly perfect interaction. It made the episode feel special compared to the usual adventures
