Episode Context

Sitting at episode 44 of 192, this marks a meaningful detour from the Hoenn journey's typical rhythm, pivoting away from the preceding 'Let Bagons Be Bagons' into a two-part storyline centered on the Mirage Kingdom. It directly sets up 'A Togepi Mirage!,' forming a mini-arc that revisits Misty's legacy while deepening the lore around Togepi's significance. This is one of Advanced Generation's notable crossover moments, bridging the original series cast with the newer Hoenn companions.
