EPISODE REVIEWS

This episode is about Ash Ketchum saying goodbye to May and Max and parting ways with Brock until Diamond and Pearl. Overall, I think this episode was a good way to end the Advanced series.

Episode Context

As episode 192 of 192, this is the definitive conclusion to the entire Advanced Generation era, arriving directly after the Terracotta Pokémon Contest episode 'Once More With Reeling!' where Ash and May's competitive arcs wrapped up. The episode serves as a transitional bridge, closing out the Hoenn and Battle Frontier storylines while establishing the individual directions each character will take heading into the Pokémon Diamond & Pearl series.
