Episode Context

Coming off Episode 2's establishment of Shirota's bizarre role as Takamine's personal 'closet,' Episode 3 deepens the foundation by fleshing out Takamine's motivations and personality beyond the comedic premise. At the quarter-mark of this 12-episode season, it's a deliberate character-building episode that strengthens the emotional stakes before the relationship dynamics inevitably escalate. This groundwork is essential for giving later episodes genuine weight when complications and deeper feelings come into play.
