The extinction vs eradication framing hit me way harder than this show has any right to. 27 years. Humans found them and finished them in 27 years. That sepia flashback of the sailors eating them over that winter stayed with me

Episode Context

The previous outing traced changing paleoart depictions of Iguanodon in a museum. This installment trades that visual focus for a mock-serious argument over what counts as prehistoric, as Kanna Nakasato and Dino debate the Steller's sea cow in a formal council chamber. The shift from reconstruction to classification keeps the season's paleontological curiosity running through a new, more combative register.
