Episode Context

Coming directly off the Christmas festivities of episode 10, this episode continues the series' pattern of anchoring its comedy and character moments to seasonal events, now shifting into New Year's celebrations. As the eleventh of twelve episodes, it serves as the final calm before the finale, deepening the subtle Tsumiki-Io dynamic just enough to build anticipation for whatever resolution the last episode offers. It's the emotional runway for the series' landing.
