Just amazing, even the naturalization is very common in high level table tennis. Its just teaches you that everyone has their own flaws and to strive/struggle brings the best in you. Smile as a coach is just poetic

the finale was gorgeous. watching smile finally break out of his shell during that last rally? chills. the way he said "my blood tastes like iron" while grinning? peak character growth. the epilogue showing everyone years later was perfect. what a masterpiece. 😭
