The finale feels surprisingly reflective compared to the earlier playful episodes. The beach scenes, old promises, photo memories, and Kanon’s emotional confession give the series a bittersweet ending that stays with you afterward.
Hmmm, well, this anime has a different route with every girl that Maeda met or knew, so I guess it is also a good last episode if you exclude the reality of it. This anime is always on the wholesome side and doesn't have any bad endings, which is also good if you don't want something too hard to watch. Even this last episode, where Kazuya and Kanon had great moments together, was also good.
This episode is a beautiful finale cause it brings everything full circle with Niimi Hikari. I loved the focus on their shared history as children and seeing Kazuya finally capture that one perfect shot of her
