We’re learning how the "Peak" and "Valley" rules actually function. Exploring Satoru's backstory as a kid trapped in his own head was pretty deep. The concept of using your most treasured memory to anchor your sanity makes the psychic stakes feel way higher and super risky.

The visuals in this episode during the memory dives were amazing! Also, it cleared up a lot of the confusion I had in the first episode. It got me thinking how fragile human minds are in general.
