Sae's cool beauty persona is cracking and honestly it's the most earned character development in this genre. Waking up grumpy burrowing into the pillow then soft-confessing over breakfast? That's the good stuff right there

The way Sae finally said "suki" after all that build up had me kicking my feet. Akihito dropping his coffee cup? Same. These two went from hotel district to breakfast dates and I'm not mad about it

Watching Akihito drop his whole playboy act over a sandwich box and cafe au lait is genuinely the cutest thing this show has done. Five minutes is criminal though. I need the full manga NOW
