This episode was mostly about Masako and her past. Some parts were dark but also funny. I liked learning why she acts so strong and confident.

I like how the animation for the poison scene was very sharp. Though the company scenes feel very boring and separate from the main show. The ghost grandfather was okay, but the talking in the office makes the episode feel slow.

This ep is a total psychological trip and the backstories are finally clicking. We get the lore and character depth needed to understand the Takakura family’s dark past, and that library scene is peak surrealism.
