This episode felt really heavy and sad. The flashbacks about the parents were shocking. Kanba looked desperate trying to save Himari and everything felt super serious.

The way they switch between the past and the present here is so smooth. There is nothing much going on in the "present" and it feels boring. This episode feels like a bridge to the next one. The old scene was wonderfully done but the story moves too slowly.
