Such an intense and gripping episode! The emotional weight was so raw, I could actually feel the characters' pain. Being fed a mystery inside a mystery is thrilling. Lil' Slugger's terrifying new appearance and that epic fight scene completely elevated the tension. It’s so unpredictable—I don't know what’s happening, but it’s far more engaging than many of the previous episodes!

I was really curious about where the series was going after this one. The episode got strange in a way that felt completely fitting for the show, and I liked how the weird moments started to have more meaning. It gave me a lot to think about while still being a fun watch. The mystery side of the series was at its best here.

Episode Context

Following episode 11's focus on Misae Ikari confronting her personal demons, 'Radar Man' pivots hard to Maniwa and Tsukiko as the series begins unraveling the central mysteries surrounding Lil' Slugger's true nature and origin. This is the crucial bridge episode, the penultimate chapter where Kon assembles the thematic and narrative pieces accumulated across eleven episodes. Everything here feeds directly into the finale, 'The Final Episode,' making this essential viewing for the payoff to land.
