Wow, this anime has such a classic aesthetic… It’s truly an anime from the aughts hehe. 😅 This is a pretty cool and rather mysterious intro to the worldview of this series imo. Really enjoyed the lovely music and voice acting!

It's a somewhat slow start but enough to introduce all the important information like the main characters and the mystery. The opening brings so many memories. The animation is a little worse than I remembered but nothing really detrimental.

I can’t believe that this only covers the chapter 1 of the manga. Given that this is an old anime, I’d say that the animation was actually good and even the effects, however it was lacking in some in-depth details. And I noticed that there’s a bit of a difference in the translation of the manga to this anime but still, it was good and really covers what happened in the manga.
