The mysteries continue to deepen, but above all, it is the enigma of Ougi Oshino that sparks conflict and creates tension among the characters, making the series truly entertaining.
With previous episodes having Ougi as the detective partner, now we have the actual Best Girl of the series, Hanekawa Tsubasa as the partner of Araragi. Yeah even Hanekawa was aware of the weird situation that is Ougi, the underclassman that suddenly acts like close friends with Araragi. Anyways happy to see Hanekawa involved more in this episode.
What started as just school issues quickly turned serious this episode; what a turnaround. But let's be honest, we'll eventually get to that point, considering the overall atmosphere of this anime, yet it may shock a lot of viewers unaware of the direction the plot is heading into. Curiously enough, resolving this mystery opens up another; I guess that's how we are going to do this moving ahead. It does a really good job at sustaining audience curiosity on this overtly complex plot.
