Ainz vs Shalltear is peak Overlord. The fight is less about raw power and more about prep, counterbuilds, and mind games. Seeing Ainz scrape out a win against a hard counter, then revive Shalltear, perfectly shows how terrifying and caring he is as Nazarick’s ruler.

This is a season finale masterpiece. It highlights how important Nazarick is to Ainz, and it feels like this is only a stage to set up something even bigger. I am excited for more!
