Covers Volume 12-13 of the Light Novel, if you are wondering the timeline where this takes place then it's in between ep7 and 8 of season 4. Although Ainz did gave a caution of the scenes in the movie that are disturbing but imo this movie was a bit toned down albeit not excluding the important parts. The LN was even more dark and gory than the movie, not to mention that So-Bin's illustration was a perfect match to Maruyama's story. Anyways, it wouldn't be a surprise that some parts in the novel wasn't included since it covers 2 volumes but imo it wasn't that bad. The animation has rather improved and I guess I did have high expectation about the design of the Ultimate Shooting Star Super but it was foolish of me to compare it to the illustration of So-Bin 😅

I absolutely loved the animation quality in this movie, especially how the shading on the characters matched the atmosphere of each scene so well. I also really liked Neia's character throughout the movie. Honestly, some of the scenes around the middle of the movie felt really heartbreaking and slightly uncomfortable even though it was only shown for a brief moment, it shows just how dark the situation has become for the Roble Holy Kingdom. Every scene of Momonga was so entertaining and amusing to watch. I do feel like some of the battles could've had a bit more action.

Funny to think that the main villain is also the hero of the story. This is not spoiler if you watched both the series and understand the movie. In my opinion, he could have have conquered the city on it's own. Control the King and let them rule them selves. No need to do the mirage Invading Army and faking the death. He could have taken more loyal humans with him if he have done it in my opinion but a good movie none the less.
