In the episode, the Dwarven Kingdom storyline comes to an end. Lord Ainz becomes the ruler of the dragons.
He defeated them without even a fight—that's not fair.
Overall, the pacing seems fast, and the story progress earns a 6/10.

Watching Shalltear turn fifty thousand Quagoa into a literal red smear on the ground in a matter of minutes was absolutely terrifying and she did not even break a sweat

Demiurge really out here thinking Ainz has a ten thousand year plan and Ainz is just trying to survive the day without looking like an idiot in front of his kids

Spectacles on a chunky dragon who just wants to read books instead of fighting is easily the most relatable thing about this whole arc

I cannot get over how Ainz keeps failing upward into being a legendary strategist. He literally just wanted to see some cool dwarf stuff, but now Demiurge is convinced he has planned out the next ten thousand years of history. The look on his face when he has to just agree with it is the funniest part of the show

Everyone was stressing about the Death Knight falling off the bridge and then Ainz just explains it was a physics glitch and not a powerful enemy

You know it is over when Ainz uses Grasp Heart and the big bad Dragon Lord just drops dead like a fly without even getting a single hit in

Poor Shalltear crying over a mistake Ainz did not even mean to make and it is hilarious and kind of sad because she takes his approval so seriously

hejinmal is the most relatable dragon ever and his cowardice saved his life while his dad got dropped in one second

I was actually expecting a real fight from the Frost Dragon Lord but Ainz just treated him like a level one mob and moved on to the treasure

I am obsessed with the fat dragon who just gave up immediately and asked to be a mount because he knew he stood zero chance against Ainz

It is wild how the Dragon Lord's wives just immediately switched sides and pledged loyalty to Ainz the second their husband's heart stopped, they really knew better

Those Quagoa charging into their own extinction felt a bit weird, but watching Hejinmal sweat through his glasses made up for the weird tactics

I cannot believe how fast Ainz dropped that Dragon Lord with Grasp Heart and then the son just offered to be a mount because he was too busy reading books to fight

Shalltear and Aura killing fifty thousand Quagoa was actually brutal and they did not even blink and it really shows how scary the guardians are when they just follow orders

The moment Ainz used Grasp Heart and the Dragon Lord died instantly was hilarious. People wanted a big fight but seeing a literal dragon get folded like a chair in one second is just classic Ainz

a fat dragon with glasses bowing down to a skeleton is hilarious and hejinmal definitely knew he had zero chance against ainz and his guards so he just decided to become a chair for him instead

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 7 marks the turning point of the Dwarven Kingdom arc, shifting from the political groundwork and rising tensions of the first half into direct confrontation and execution of Ainz's broader strategy. The crisis established in Episode 6 reaches a critical juncture here, with Ainz moving from diplomacy to decisive action. This sets the stage for Episode 8, 'An Unexpected Move,' where the consequences of this power play ripple outward into the season's back half.
