His Floor Guardians, including Shalltear Bloodfallen and Albedo, buzz with admiration for what they believe is their master's genius, praising his supposed trap for an enemy player. Ainz, ever the actor, accepts their accolades and, seizing the moment, dramatically alters his war strategy, abandoning the slow siege. He decides instead to march directly on the capital, declaring his intention to crush all who defy Nazarick, teaching them a lesson in submission.

Back in the Re-Estize royal palace, Prince Zanac is buried under paperwork, the weight of a collapsing kingdom on his shoulders. His sister, Princess Laina, enters, and they discuss the devastating strategic blunder that allowed Ainz's army to advance unimpeded. Zanac grimly acknowledges that Marquis Raeven's sudden information blockade was likely a desperate, logical betrayal to save his own people. Despite the grim prospects, Zanac steels himself, resolving to personally lead the last defense of his kingdom against the overwhelming threat.

The Adamantite adventurer team, Blue Rose, walks through the capital's desolate streets. Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra tries to send her teammates away to meet a mysterious 'uncle,' but Gagaran and Evileye see through the ruse, refusing to leave her side. They arrive at a lavish hideout where they find Azuth Aindra, the pilot of the formidable power suit, lounging casually. Evileye wastes no time, using 'Charm Person' to clear the room, demanding a serious discussion. Azuth proposes that Blue Rose flee the kingdom with him, arguing that fighting Ainz is a suicidal folly, but Lakyus steadfastly refuses to abandon her people. He departs, leaving her with a final, somber warning about the Sorcerer King's incomprehensible power, an exchange heavy with the unspoken possibility of their last meeting.

The Re-Estize army forms its desperate lines against the monstrous legions of the Sorcerer Kingdom. Against the advice of his men, Prince Zanac, clad in his royal armor, rides out alone across the desolate plains, seeking an audience with Ainz Ooal Gown. Ainz accepts, conjuring a magnificent tent and a table from thin air, a stark display of his power. The two leaders meet in the vast, silent field, an improbable island of calm before the storm of total war.

During the parley, Zanac directly confronts Ainz, seeking to understand the ruthless nature of his conquest and why conditional surrender is not an option. Ainz offers Zanac a glass of water, a simple gesture that underscores the gravity of his words as he calmly explains his philosophy. He declares that his actions, however brutal, are solely for the absolute "happiness" and prosperity of Nazarick, viewing the destruction of other nations as a simple, necessary sacrifice. Zanac grasps the chilling truth: Ainz is not a mindless monster, but a king with an utterly focused, terrifyingly logical devotion to his own people.

Their grim conversation continues, and Zanac inquires about his brother's fate and the legendary sword of Gazef Stronoff. Ainz answers with a surprising honesty, acknowledging his minions likely killed the prince's brother and expressing his profound respect for Gazef as a warrior. A strange, mutual respect forms between these two kings, one utterly defeated, the other utterly victorious. Ainz promises Zanac a "gentle" death by magic when the time comes, a strange mercy in the face of utter annihilation.

Zanac returns to his camp, relaying Ainz's unwavering resolve and the grim news that surrender is not an option. His nobles, consumed by fear and self-interest, refuse to believe him, whispering and conspiring amongst themselves. As Zanac seeks a moment of rest in his tent, he is suddenly surrounded. His own men, in a cowardly act of treachery, murder him, hoping to save their own lives and titles by offering Zanac's head to Ainz.

The treacherous nobles arrive at Ainz's camp, groveling and offering a large sack as proof of their supposed loyalty. Albedo watches with a chilling smirk as they proudly declare they bring the head of Prince Zanac as a gift. Ainz opens the sack, his gaze falling upon the lifeless face of the man with whom he had just shared a moment of profound, if grim, understanding. His eye sockets glow with an intense, cold fury as the depth of their disloyalty to their own monarch washes over him.

Ainz's fury solidifies into absolute, chilling resolve. He orders Albedo to take the treacherous nobles to Neuronist, Nazarick's torture specialist, with explicit instructions to prolong their suffering indefinitely. Disgusted by the kingdom's utter lack of spirit and loyalty, Ainz revokes his earlier, almost compassionate promise of a gentle death for the populace. He gives command of the final, total assault to Cocytus and Mare, instructing them to burn the capital and eradicate every single inhabitant. The episode concludes with Ainz turning his back on the field, his mercy entirely exhausted, as the annihilation of Re-Estize begins.
