Overlord III

Ainz summoning the Dark Young just to show off his power is peak Overlord. The absolute despair from the Re-Estize army makes the power scaling so fun to watch. Ainz really does not play around.

seeing Ainz overwhelming entire armies through strategy, fear, and devastating summons and terrifying power and presence. After massacre half of the battlefield and seeing both sides of the army in adulterated fear and shock was just amazing

thanks to Gazef Stronoff's bravery, Ainz stopped his attack on the Kingdom's troops. Ainz's Wold Domination begins. can't wait for the next season!

Finally the war between Baharuth Empie and the Re-Estize Kingdom began. Ainz's presence really changed the course of the war. and Gazef has made up his mind and deserves to be appreciated.

Another special episode for Enri, with the entire goblin army using old looking CGI, the fight looks very stiff and less expressive

not only the Baharuth Empire, now the Re-Estize Kingdom also has to deal with a Kingdom that has just declared itself the Sorcerer Kingdom. It looks like the annual war this time will not be the same as before.

The Baharuth Empire must be held responsible for sending intruders into the great tomb of Nazarick. After the revelation of the great tomb of Nazarick, the story becomes even more interesting.

The duel between Ainz and Gazef is short but unforgettable. Gazef standing his ground even knowing he can’t win shows insane resolve, while Ainz’s calm, overwhelming power makes the outcome feel like a tragic, inevitable execution rather than a fair fight.

As Ainz demonstrate his great powers, he decided to duel with Gazeff, with intent of recruiting him to his kingdom (as usual). Gazeff displays his honor and loyalty towards his kingdom. Ainz respecfully duels him, and ultimately wins. However, he respects Gazeff's wish.

And finally, we get to the season finale. The Gazef vs. Ainz fight has a predictable outcome, but Ainz seems to honor him not as a weak insect, but as a worthy foe. Ainz's plan doesn't stop here, as he has more in store for the next season.

Finally, the battle that the past two episodes have been building toward. The episode title is the only thing that can describe this episode. Ainz unleashes one of his super-tier spells to start the battle and ends up soloing it instead.

The story shifts perspective again, this time to Enri and Carne Village. The seemingly trash item that Ainz gave her in Season 1 becomes relevant again. My only complaint about this episode is that the 3D models and CGI are terrible and uncanny.

Another dialogue-heavy political episode, this one shows the Kingdom of Re-Estize preparing to wage war against Nazarick now that they have the Baharuth Empire as their ally. The episode serves as build-up for another major event of the season.

After the incident with the Workers, Emperor El Nix prepares to do damage control and personally apologizes to Ainz. This episode sees Ainz flexing his power, while the Emperor is scared sh!tless. For a dialogue-heavy political episode, it’s actually very fun to watch.

This is one of the darkest episode of this season. Momonga has no humanity left in him, this isn't roleplay as an evil skeleton overlord anymore, this is him abandoning his humanity and fully embracing his Overlord title.

The Workers invade Nazarick, and Ainz doesn’t like it. This episode really showcases just how evil the inhabitants of Nazarick are. It only shows some of the fates that befall the other Workers—the next episode is the main event.

A dialogue-heavy episode that serves as world-building, showcasing the different political plans of the Re-Estize and Baharuth Empires, and setting up the next major event involving the Workers.

Monsters attack Carne Village. We get more Enri and Nphi couple moments, as well as some Papa Skeleton moments with Ainz in the visiting scene at the end. My only complaint about this episode is that some of the animation is janky.

It’s the season finale, but the peak streak is far from ending. I feel significant shift in how Ainz is portrayed. He seems unreachable now that his heartlessness is laid bare for all to see. I’m both scared and excited to see what will happen next.

This episode is truly terrifying and devastating. The overwhelming gap between Ainz’s power alone and the whole army combined is just absurd. I’m having a tough time watching this while still rooting for everyone when their connection are all entangled and complicated.
