Over the Divine Realms 2nd Season
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Six days have passed when he wakes up — except they haven't, not really. He's been thrown twelve years into the past, dropped back into a version of the world he already lived through, with the weight of everything he knows pressing down on him. Season two of Over the Divine Realms picks up the fallout from that premise: why did this happen, who or what caused it, and what does a guy even do when the gods themselves seem to be pulling the strings on human fate. The setting blends ancient Chinese history with xianxia mythology, so you've got divine politics, martial arts, and a protagonist who's slowly figuring out he might actually be able to push back against predetermined destiny. CG Year handles the animation, and their 3D work gives the action sequences a weight and scale that flat animation usually can't pull off. If you've been following Immortality 2nd Season or Swallowed Star 2nd Season, the vibe here is in that same lane — cultivation world, high stakes, mythology baked into everything — but the time-travel angle adds a layer of mystery that keeps the plot from feeling like a straight power climb. Based on a web novel, so the source material has depth to draw from. Worth picking up if you want something with actual narrative momentum behind the fights.
