Aside from the amount of flashbacks, this episode gives us an understanding of a character from his past experiences. But my gosh, enough with flashbacks already and focus on the race.

We finally get a backstory for Hyoudo. I will say I did not expect it and gave a flavor to his arrogance and small-mindedness, but the story telling was a bit bland. I still wish he loses because his personality barely made a rise or dip since his flashback begin.
