I can't believe they dissed Mori-senpai this episode. Bro did not say a single word but his expressions and body language did all the work. This school sure has no shortage of interesting students. Never judge Casanova/Bossanova/Kasanoda by his face. The ending was hilarious. MAH!!

The newly introduced character was interesting to begin with. This episode was far and away the best comedic episode! The comedy is at its peak! Never expected that I would laugh that hard, but as the episode went on, it became warm and heartfelt. Truly, Kasanoda was a hidden gem

This episode introduced Ritsu Kasanoda, he’s such an amusing and misunderstood character. It was funny seeing Takashi show more expressions. The scene when Tamaki broke the 4th wall was also funny.

Episode Context

Positioned at episode 22 of 26, this marks a shift from the lighter standalone Halloween antics of Episode 21 toward more emotionally layered storytelling as the series approaches its conclusion. Kasanoda's introduction here is more than a one-off gag, his interactions with Haruhi and the club directly set up the significant character revelations and emotional developments that drive Episode 23 forward. The series is clearly building connective tissue for its final stretch.
