Seeing the Hitachiin twins as kids is equal parts adorable and chaotic, they were such little devils! This episode fleshes out their world and Tamaki's too, showing how he changes everyone around him for the better just by being himself. Touching character development wrapped up as a flashback episode.

This ep is emotionally-engaging with the spotlight on the Hitachiin twins' backstory. The emotions of the characters such as the longing, acceptance, and perseverance, were successfully conveyed and delivered. The pacing was slow-burn but overall, a wonderful episode.

I really liked how this episode gave us insight in how Tamaki managed to recruit Hikaru and Kaoru, it was really wholesome. It’s a bit unfortunate how they’ve spent their whole lives being mistaken for each other, to the point where it became a guessing game.
