I appreciate how our heroine is comfortable with her gender from the start.

One of the best classic romcom anime I've ever rewatched! This underrated series starts off with catchy OP and ED along with an engaging plot like Hana Yori Dango, Hana Kimi, Coffee Prince, etc. And a line-up of star-studded VA's including Maaya-Ken couple and epic Mamoru Miyano!

This episode was so funny, especially seeing how everyone around Haruhi seemed way more financially well off than her. I like how the character interactions feel really natural and fun to watch. The soundtrack is also beautiful, I love how dazzling and uplifting it sounds.

First episode is prob one of my favorites ever in an anime. Main protagonist is so badass and refreshing and the reveal at the end was chef's kiss.

This episode was so funny and chaotic. How they thought Haruhi was a boy and every members found out that haruhi is a girl instead. Tamaki, being the last one to found out that haruhi is a girl. It was the funniest. And Kyoya being the one who knew it from the start.

A perfect first episode: a catchy "Kiss kiss, fall in love" song, no one is on the spotlight yet the characters stand out, and the pace is just right. Mid episode? A heartfelt moment and an interesting, if not predictable, plot twist.
