EPISODE REVIEWS

The nonlinear story telling of Orb is amazing. It's insane to think the story revolve around few humans talking with each other, solely relying on dialogue alone to create tension. That said this episode is more of a setup.

This episode finally gathered enough brew to the plot. Just as thoughts accumulated for brainstorming, the story progresses. The music conveys the tension and weight of the actions the characters are taking. Embodying the metaphor of Icarus to the characters were brilliantly done

I love how this show isn't about God's existence, but rather about perceiving the world correctly. Piast thinks the holy scripture is correct, but that humans aren't able to understand it. I really love the astronomical theory deep lore this keeps pulling in.

The Inquisition is terrifying. 😰 The way the show portrays the "villains" as people who truly believe they are doing the right thing makes it so much scarier. The cat-and-mouse game is officially at a boiling point! SOS!

The ending leaves little doubt that Piast will join the team as well. While the earlier episodes were about passing the torch, it looks like it is now about assembling the necessary parts and people for a great endeavor.

This episode focuses on Badeni assembling the team for the research with Oczy and Jolenta. The episode also highlighted the diverse struggle of the characters with Jolenta afraid of being labeled a witch for being intelligent.

Personally, I like how Badeni is collecting unlikely people who will work in research at that time, a woman and a commoner. Jolanta on the other hand got a development which deserve an applause for standing up for herself, having the audacity that Count Piast said was lacking.

I thought they'd give Piast a heart attack with their Heliocentrism theory and lose the only potential ally. And i'm glad Badeni saw through Jolenta's bullshit and lured her into collaboration. I'd be frustrated if she kept dodging them.

I'd like to quote, "Icarus only failed because he used wax. We need wings of steel." 🔥 this ep said truth matters more than comfort and i felt that. we love to see Badeni clocking Jolenta immediately and respecting her as a scholar. Also, Piast backstory actually made me emotional. The sun keeps getting closer and I'm scared of what's to come next.😭

World expansion time. Finding like-minded people in 15th-century Europe? Good luck. The search becomes its own journey, and every new face could be friend or foe. Slow-burning world-building that actually matters to the story. 📚
