And so the tables turn, for profit and for control. What a power move from Antoni, completely undermine his father's and Nowak work, without even having to move anything, and if succeed, he would profit and be the person that brings the church back into popularity.

The gambit for the truth. The pacing for this episode was quite slow. The fighting scenes at the start were pretty intense and Schmidt was one of the hero for this final arc. The clashing of both mercenaries insights were profound yet not convinced with Antoni's sudden shift.

Amazing how Hubert's words still echo to present "A life without fear is one without essence", mirroring Schmitt, very lovely gosh. A very sad episode though. Some characters just don't deserve sympathy seriously. I appreciated the pacing, it added to making it an emotional ep.

Episode Context

The title alone sets the tone, this is an episode about legacy, sacrifice, and the cruel irony that those who fight hardest for truth may never be remembered for it. Episode 22 shifts into high-gear survival mode as the consequences of betrayal come crashing down. Expect intense, pulse-pounding sequences as Draka and Schmidt find themselves cornered by Nowak's forces, with Bishop Antoni looming as the embodiment of institutional power crushing dissent. Madhouse delivers the urgency through sharp action direction, but the real weight comes from the thematic undercurrent: what does it mean to pursue knowledge when history itself might erase you? With only three episodes remaining, the personal stakes feel enormous. This is a turning-point episode, fast, tense, and emotionally charged, where the cost of defiance becomes devastatingly tangible.
