This episode reminding me of Vinland Saga farm. The visuals amd feels were the same particularly that countryside house. Hence, the OP and art style were incredibly great, similar to AoT vibes. The plot and the VAs were intense, thrilling, with a bit of creepiness overflowing.

This is really a story of rebellion by the book but damn it does so well in terms of writing and animation really looks pretty too. He is really a prime example of a badass, he keeps going even if final results might be the reaper awaiting for him. Very interesting honestly.

I love Rafal slowly beginning to commit more and more sins as he delves deeper into astronomy, becoming a liar to keep his studies growing and hidden. The realism in this is just so immersive. And the pacing too is no joke, i completely enjoy every second

Episode Context

The second episode of Orb leans hard into the intellectual tension that defines the series. Rafal, the young prodigy established in the premiere, finds himself drawn deeper into Hubert's dangerous heliocentric ideas, a direct challenge to everything his world accepts as truth. Expect a contemplative, dialogue-heavy episode where the real drama lives in the space between conviction and doubt. Madhouse delivers a measured pace here, giving weight to philosophical exchanges rather than rushing toward spectacle. The tone is quietly intense; this is a show about the courage it takes to think differently when thinking differently can destroy you. Character dynamics between Rafal and Hubert anchor every scene, building a mentor-student friction that feels earned. If you connected with the premiere's intellectual ambition, this episode rewards your patience and deepens the stakes considerably.
