This episode hit harder emotionally than I expected. The spesific theme here adds a lot more weight once you know the major upcoming event everyone's trying to avoid.

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 13-episode run, Letter 07 deepens the emotional stakes established in Letter 06, where the group's awareness of their collective responsibility toward Kakeru sharpened considerably. This episode functions as a pivotal turning point, shifting from setup into the heavier emotional territory that will define the second half. It lays critical groundwork for the escalating challenges and tougher decisions the friends will face as the series moves toward its final act.
