"Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse" unfolds in Denji Heian-kyou, an alternate version of Japan's Heian-era capital. The story follows Takeru Narehira, a high school delinquent from our world who is unexpectedly transported to this mystical realm. There, he meets Tsukimiya, a woman he recognizes from his dreams. Their initial encounter is cut short when they are attacked by an oni monster, resulting in their deaths. However, Takeru awakens back in Denji Heian-kyou, realizing he possesses the power to rewind time. Driven by a desire to save Tsukimiya, he resolves to learn the world's onmyōjutsu techniques, aiming to become a powerful onmyōji sorcerer and protect her from the dangers of this alternate reality. The series explores themes of fate, second chances, and the pursuit of power to protect loved ones.
