Shiki-Mikado soul bond peaking with mudano tattoos heavy af for fallen friends—ink-quit pledge wraps it perfect emotionally. Strongest finale I've seen lately, S2 when?? Had me yelling at screen.
I felt Ep 24 was peak. The patched together relationship of Shiki and Mikado was purely soul, though the moment of Mudano having the tattoos shows off, due to understanding that they are being used to represent fallen friends is distressing. Shiki pledging to quit the ink was a high level denouement. Season 2 can't come fast enough!
Mikado explains his partnership with Momotaro, showing their shared beliefs with Shiki, a young boy aspiring to be a champion of justice like his TV heroes. Despite their common goal, their paths differ, but their friendship brings them joy.
