The House of Evolution thought they had the ultimate lifeform with Carnage Kabuto, but the true horror was Saitama realizing he missed the Saturday supermarket sale. Madhouse is flexing their budget on this episode.

The new monster looks like it could challenge Saitama, but it turns out the same! Fast-paced with no time wasted on so may time on flashbacks(just a little but seems important). Straightforward action, and Saitama, as usual, ONE PUNCH! Worth it to watch!

This episode really felt like life-or-death. I love that the serious moments always having a hint of comedy in them. I kept cracking up at the ridiculousness of some of the things Saitama was saying and doing. Also, the battle was beautifully animated and really nice to watch.

The contrast between serious villain buildup and effortless resolution creates the episode’s strongest humor.

A visually destructive episode that showcases overwhelming power in the most casual way possible.

Our overpowered bald superhero and his mechanical sidekick, investigate the villains that storm into the apartment that he's been living in, only to find out that there's been a scientist who's so obsessed with Saitama.

This episode leans more into comedy, especially with the training bit. The pacing is slower, but the humor lands and helps build Saitama and Genos’ dynamic.

Another really entertaining episode! As usual the battle animation is amazing, but pacing wise, it does get a bit repetitive and slow when the characters over explain or when they’re trying to tell a really long story/plot. However, the comedy and humor really does make up for it! Like seeing Saitama’s simple origin was absolutely hilarious 😆

A perfectly paced episode as Saitama and Genos infiltrate the House of Evolution. The animation continues to be spectacular while maintaining the comedy throughout the entire runtime, with the dynamic between Saitama and Genos being hilarious and complimentary.

Absolutely legendary! The reveal of Saitama’s 'secret' is hilarious and perfectly sums up the show’s humor. The fight against Carnage Kabuto is visually stunning, and the contrast between the intense lore and Saitama's simplicity is pure genius. Still 10/10! #OnePunchMan

The episode delves deeper into Dr. Genus's backstory. The episode reinforces the theme that no matter how powerful or terrifying the enemy is, Saitama’s strength trivializes the threat. It also deepens the satirical tone of the series by mocking a typical superhero story.

Can't believe the hype! The fight scenes are so good. Feeling like a true fan right now. The animation, top tier! Saitama's power is incredible.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off episode two's establishment of the Saitama-Genos dynamic, this episode puts their new partnership to a real test against a genuine threat organization, deepening their mentor-student relationship through action rather than dialogue. It's the first substantial villain encounter that explores why Saitama is the way he is, laying thematic groundwork the rest of the season will build on. The next episode, 'The Modern Ninja,' expands the world further by introducing additional heroes and threats beyond Saitama's immediate orbit.
