Garou is a great antihero. He almost acts like an older brother, and it's nice to see him fight for what he truly believes in, rather than what will make him a "true monster". I'm excited for the next episode!

This episode explores monster behaviour and expands the story. It builds tension and develops characters further but not very interesting.

Better than the previous one but still needs a lot of work! Saitama brings some of his usual comedy but action is what I need! Slow pacing again. Little bit of anticipation being built by the end of the episode. Been a disappointment but I will still give it some leverage. Mid!

Still slow, but better than the previous episode, with more character moments than action. Garou’s scenes carry the episode, while Saitama brings random comedy. Fights are barely there, but tension’s building. Not hype yet, but it’s getting there. Hope it's getting there.

This episode is a SOLID improvement over the premiere. it's not a masterpiece, but it's a step in the right direction. The animation still isn't what it could be, the Monster Association arc might actually be worth watching. After six years, we'll take what we can get.

it's merely a standard episode filled with dialogue, and there aren't any genuine fight scenes yet to assess the animation quality effectively, which is still quite disappointing... not sure it will improve anytime soon.

I never thought that i would rate this Episode 2 a bad rate, just because i found out that at the video in 9:27 when Garu supposedly walking towards the kid, he was just sliding down. this part was hilarious. i thought the animators would replaced it but they didn't.

The first episode was bad. And this one is even worse! The animation is just a bunch of PNG put together in a slideshow. As someone who's waited years for season 3 to come out, this is pretty disappointing. I love the manga and its story, but this adaptation just isn't it.

The episode leans into suspense and shadowed visuals to show how unstable the world has become. Multiple small conflicts build pressure, emphasizing vulnerability and the rising cost of heroism.

Visually improved, but the slideshow moments are a letdown. Garou's fight direction shows promise. Jokes land, but overall, it's far from peak.

EPISODE CONTEXT

After Episode 1 established the heroes' strategic groundwork against the Monster Association, Episode 2 pivots to the other side of the conflict, grounding Garou's motivations and internal contradictions before the war escalates. It functions as a deliberate bridge episode early in the twelve-episode run, deepening the emotional and thematic stakes so the confrontations ahead carry real weight. The character work here — particularly around Garou, Saitama, and Fubuki — lays essential groundwork for the larger collisions the season is building toward.
