EPISODE REVIEWS

I can't believe that weird ballet guy turned out to be an enemy because he seemed so fun with Luffy and Usopp and seeing him show Vivi's dad's face at the end was such a gut punch

Episode Context

Coming directly off the crew's departure from Drum Island with Chopper now aboard, this episode shifts focus squarely toward the Alabasta conflict as the Straw Hats close the distance to Vivi's war-torn kingdom. The introduction of Mr. 2 Bon Clay deepens the audience's understanding of Baroque Works' roster and the scale of opposition awaiting the crew. It's a critical connective episode that bridges the Drum Island arc's resolution with the full-scale Alabasta saga about to unfold.
