EPISODE REVIEWS

Udon prison looks like a joke now because Kid and Luffy are just using it to get stronger and the guards look totally helpless

It was hilarious how Luffy and Kid turned a prison sentence into a petty contest over who can eat more and it made me laugh because the guards look pathetic

Episode Context

Following Episode 918's groundwork for the larger plan to challenge Kaido, this episode narrows its focus to the Udon prison subplot, developing Luffy and Kid's volatile dynamic under captivity. It serves as essential character building for what becomes a critical alliance later in the Wano arc. Episode 920 pivots away to Sanji's storyline in the Flower Capital, making this the key prison-centric spotlight before the narrative lens shifts.
