EPISODE REVIEWS

Shutenmaru is way faster than he looks and Jack really found that out the hard way and he cut right through him while looking like he barely even tried

Episode Context

Coming off Kin'emon's efforts to rally allies for the rebellion against Kaido, Episode 912 pivots to introduce Shutenmaru as a wildcard whose allegiance remains uncertain, a critical complication for the Straw Hats' plans. This episode functions as a bridge within the Wano arc's early phase, deepening the political web and establishing key players like Jack whose roles escalate in the episodes that follow. The groundwork laid here directly feeds into the alliance-building struggles and power confrontations that define Wano's middle stretch.
