Episode Context

Picking up directly from Luffy's initial arrival in Wano and his encounter with Otama around Episode 893, this episode deepens the emotional groundwork of the Wano Country arc while keeping the crew's reunion in motion. It bridges the early exploration phase of Wano with the escalating conflicts ahead, directly setting up the pivotal confrontation with Basil Hawkins in Episode 898. The Ace connection introduced here becomes a recurring emotional thread throughout the arc.
